Strong Delusion Happening Now

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

By Geri Ungurean

Coming from an ultra-liberal Jewish family, I am seeing firsthand how easily the evil one can seduce and capture the minds of the unsaved.

In order for me (or any of us) to be used by the Lord to bring His truth into the lives of liberal friends and family, we must love them as Jesus loves them.  We must also tell them “truth” as Jesus told Truth.  And our Jesus was not always tactful as we read of Him calling the Pharisees “You hypocrites!”

Jesus IS the Truth.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

The Leftwing Media Becomes Their god

If you engage in conversation on a regular basis with a liberal, then surely you have listened as they parrot back what they have heard on CNN, MSNBC and all other Leftist news sites.

When writing about my stay with my sister, I recounted how I had to endure CNN being on from sunrise to sunset.  I put headphones on to listen to Christian music.  Unfortunately, they were not noise cancelling headphones, so the Cable “Noise” Network (CNN) assaulted my ears and my spirit whenever I sat with my sister.  But being with her was of utmost importance.  I kept silently praying that God would either open the eyes of my sister or a lightning strike would disable the Noise network!

Liberal News Stations Become an Addiction

I asked my sister if she heard about various news stories and she gave me the deer in the headlights look.  One of the stories of which I inquired was about the two Israeli soldiers who had been gunned down on the Temple Mount.  She had not heard this story.  I told her that what made this story so impactful was that the two Israeli soldiers were Druze – not Jewish.

I asked her about many other important events and she had no clue about them.  I explained to her that she was receiving only part of world events by watching CNN.  I also told her that CNN has had to recant stories as not true many times, but the useful idiots only remember the story and not that CNN recanted it.

Garbage in Garbage out

We’ve heard that said numerous times and there is much truth to it.  The Liberal media is putting out garbage (they call it news) and those addicted to these stations repeat what they have heard. They see no reason to look elsewhere for news.  So the cycle repeats and the minds of the liberals are programmed to accept without question the garbage they are watching as “truth.”

Hitler, Mussolini and other tyrants throughout modern history have used the media to do their bidding.

“But the most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly and with unflagging attention.  It must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.  Here, as so often in this world, persistence is the first and most important requirement for success.” ― Adolf Hitler

How Antichrist will use the Media for his purposes

Now that we are seeing the Strong Delusion in the minds of those who follow Liberal news sources, is it not clear that the ‘Wicked’ will also use these lost souls to propagate his lies onto the airways to reach the masses?  With 21st Century technology, that man of sin will be visible to the people of each nation simultaneously.  He will use the media as his own propaganda machine.  He will have the power (because he will be indwelt by Satan) to eradicate other news sources who oppose him.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).

After the Rapture

There will only be one source from which people will be able to glean Truth – The Holy Word of God.  I imagine that Bibles will be destroyed by Antichrist and his army.  I cannot fathom the horror that the whole earth will experience, but especially those Tribulation Saints, who come to Christ during the Tribulation, who will be hunted down like animals by Antichrist, and beheaded for not denouncing their faith in Christ.

But that horror pales in comparison to the joy which these saints will have when they finally see the Lord of Glory in heaven.

Another Holocaust

During the Tribulation, God will be dealing with His people Israel for their sin.  This is called “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble.”  During the last half of the Tribulation, which is called the Great Tribulation, Antichrist will seat himself in the newly built Temple and declare that he is God.  The eyes of God’s people will finally be opened after this Abomination of Desolation is committed by Antichrist.  They will realize that they have been tricked, and will also understand that Yeshua (Jesus) is the long awaited Messiah of Israel.  Antichrist will slaughter 2/3 of Israel. 1/3 will escape to the hills.

For those who are unsaved, reading this article, I have one question for you.  What is keeping you from repenting of your sins and trusting Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of those sins – ALL of your sins?  I truly believe that we are close to the Rapture. If you reject Christ at that time, you WILL be left here to endure the most horrific time ever experienced on earth.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be(Matthew 24:21).

“What is the Great Tribulation?”

Answer: The Tribulation is a future time period when the Lord will accomplish at least two aspects of His plan: 1) He will complete His discipline of the nation Israel (Daniel 9:24), and 2) He will judge the unbelieving, godless inhabitants of the earth (Revelation 6 – 18).  The length of the Tribulation is seven years.  This is determined by an understanding of the seventy weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27; also see the article on the Tribulation).

The Great Tribulation is the last half of the Tribulation period, three and one-half years in length. It is distinguished from the Tribulation period because the Beast, or Antichrist, will be revealed, and the wrath of God will greatly intensify during this time.  Thus, it is important at this point to emphasize that the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation are not synonymous terms.  Within eschatology (the study of future things), the Tribulation refers to the full seven-year period while the “Great Tribulation” refers to the second half of the Tribulation.

It is Christ Himself who used the phrase “Great Tribulation” with reference to the last half of the Tribulation.  In Matthew 24:21, Jesus says, “For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall.”  In this verse Jesus is referring to the event of Matthew 24:15, which describes the revealing of the abomination of desolation, the man also known as the Antichrist.

Also, Jesus in Matthew 24:29-30 states, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days…the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.”  In this passage, Jesus defines the Great Tribulation (v.21) as beginning with the revealing of the abomination of desolation (v.15) and ending with Christ’s second coming (v.30). – source

2 Thessalonians 2:11King James Version (KJV)

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Believing in the rapture (therefore believing Satan/Antichrist is Jesus) will cause God to send you the “strong delusion.”

When is the Rupture supposed to happen? That doesn’t sound too good.

You lost me at “Rapture”. The Bible says NO such thing. The word is not even in the Bible. It’s man-made crap interpretation.

Many christain seems to be glued to the idea that they are called to suffer the aches of the great tribulation – how absurb. Once we belong to Christ we are part of heaven and our focus is on things above and not the calamity of the great tribulation. We have a living hope and not a dead one. (isaiah)

      • BungalowBud

It’s not an idea but the word of God. The great multitude comes through the tribulations with their testimony of Jesus. We also have the 2 witnesses. We want to help you as your preacher lied to you and you will be too depressed thinking you missed the rapture. We survive it all. Where is your faith?

Why do end time christians think they are more special than all christians throughout all of history were persecuted and killed for it is written that all who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

    • Rick Carufel

Religion is evil, proselytizing is evil and you are evil. Religion is the delusion and you have religious dementia.

    • Ste Gre

      The Rapture doctrine is false.

Why are end time “christians” so vain to think they are more special to be saved from persecution by the so-called rapture than all the christians throughout history, and even today, who have been persecuted and killed.

The rapture is the false deception created by Satan. Those who receive the “Mark of the Beast” won’t think it’s the Mark of the Beast because they believe that they will be raptured before the coming of the Mark of the Beast. Denominational christians, counterfeit christians, weak christians will receive the Mark of the Beast, unknowingly. True christians are to endure until the last day.

Let’s reason this out. If the rapture is to escape the tribulation, like how most christians believe, why would the dead in Christ rise? If they are dead they shouldn’t be hurt by the persecution of christians during the tribulation. Christians who are living will need to endure unto the end and follow the “christian” underground railroad. Why are end time “christians” so vain to think they are more special to be saved from being harmed than all the christians throughout history, and even today, who have been persecuted and killed.

There are, of course, two resurrections: the first at the soon to return of Jesus where the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead and the second at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ where all the other dead from all of history shall rise and be judged from the Book of Life according to their works – some to everlasting life, some to everlasting death. Blessed are the ones who rise in the first resurrection. (Revelation 20)

Put on your armour of God and prepare for what Satan has plans for the world today. There are many warnings to christians about backsliding. There will be a great falling away from the faith and one must have faith to begin with in order to fall away from it, eh? There are two reasons to fall away: one, fear and, two, the ways of the world.

I am enjoying the irony of the harbinger judgment of the mudslides in CA…some of the wealthiest people in CA have made their fortunes shoveling manure pile after manure pile of contempt on God and his Word in the media…the devil pays his servants well enough to afford a big house in the hills next to the coast…have you noticed how surprised they are when they reap what they sow, and a manure pile of mud and trash dumps right into their livingrooms?

Daniel’s 70 weeks is actually “weeks of years” or jubilees (=70×49 or 3,430 years); see How long ago was the Torah given to Moses at Sinai??? Hint: We’re there, folks.

Also, let’s dispel one of the larger lies of most Christian churches — a pre-Tribulation rapture:

Matthew 24:29 “But immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION [emphasis mine] of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky [lit. heaven], and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect [lit. chosen ones] from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. (NASB)

Mark 13:24 “But in those days, AFTER THE TRIBULATION [emphasis mine], the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, 25 and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect [lit. chosen ones] from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. (NASB)

This represents two witnesses in the synoptic Gospels. So, if ANYONE teaches a pre-tribulation rapture, they are a false teacher; it’s as simple as that. Matthew 10:22, 24:13 and Mark 13:13 all state that those who endure to the end (i.e., remain a believer in Christ until death or are still living at His return) will be saved.

The Law was given to Moses at Sinai in the year 2410 from the Creation (i.e., 49 jubilees, one week, and two days or 2401 + 7 + 2). The Israelites crossed over into the Promised Land 40 years later in 2450.

Jubilees 50:1 And after this law I made known to thee the days of the Sabbaths in the desert of Sin[ai], which is between Elim and Sinai. 2 And I told thee of the Sabbaths of the land on Mount Sinai, and I told thee of the jubilee years in the sabbaths of years: but the year thereof have I not told thee till ye enter the land which ye are to possess. 3 And the land also will keep its sabbaths while they dwell upon it, and they will know the jubilee year. 4 Wherefore I have ordained for thee the year-weeks and the years and the jubilees: there are forty-nine jubilees from the days of Adam until this day, and one week and two years and there are yet forty years to come (lit. “distant for learning the commandments of the Lord, until they pass over into the land of Canaan, crossing the Jordan to the west. 5 And the jubilees will pass by, until Israel is cleansed from all guilt of fornication, and uncleanness, and pollution, and sin, and error, and dwelleth with confidence in all the land, and there will be no more a Satan or any evil one, and the land will be clean from that time for evermore.

wrong…there’s nothing in those two scriptures that prohibit God from coming for the wise virgins 7 years before that in the “thief in the night” unexpected rapture…the rapture before the tribulation catches the saints up into heaven. The rapture at the end of the tribulation catches the saints up into the air. That’s a big difference, don’t you think? This table compares the pretrib rapture with the second coming….(it didn’t copy over well from a word doc table, try to make do,,,oops)

        1. Luke 21:36 Rapture happens before the Tribulation begins 1. Matt. 24:29-30 Second Coming happens after the Tribulation
        2. 1 Thess. 4:13-17 Christ catches away the faithful saints 2. Jude 14; Rev. 19:11-21 Christ returns with the faithful saints.
        3. John 14:3 Christ takes the saints to heaven. 3. Zech. 14:4-5; Rev. 19:14 Christ brings the saints with him back to earth
        4. 1 Thess. 4:17 Christ goes up into the clouds 4. Zech. 14:4-5 Christ returns to earth
        5. 1 Cor. 15:52 Christ does not appear to the world, only to those he is taking away 5. Rev. 1:7 Everyone on earth will sees him and will mourn
        6. Titus 2:13 The Rapture is the blessed hope. Knowing it is immanent and coming soon gives believers hope 6. Rev. 19:15 The Second Coming is the Day of Wrath. Nobody hopes in the coming wrath of God

        • Alan Schuetz

jknbt, you are mistaken. That one false teaching of a pre-Trib rapture will be the PRIMARY reason for the Great Apostasy. When many “Christians” see the events of the Tribulation occurring and God didn’t “beam them up” to Heaven, they will fall away from the faith. And, that is yet another false teaching: Believers going to Heaven. Nothing could be further from the truth. Heaven is the domain of the Elohim! Our domain is here on Earth! Why do you think that the New Jerusalem will descend to the New Earth? Just READ the Bible with comprehension and remove your denominational blinders…
Believers’ Souls Do NOT Go To Heaven!

One of the biggest hoaxes that modern churches have thrust upon us is concerning the disposition of the soul after death. Almost universally, Christians will vehemently state the souls of deceased believers immediately go to Heaven, but that is NOT what the Scriptures state. So, if not Heaven, then where (if anywhere)?

Most Christians believe they belong to “New Testament churches;” therefore, they have no use for the Old Testament. But, what did Christ say on this subject? Examine Matthew 5:17-19: Is Christ a liar? Have all things been fulfilled? If you think so, then why is there a need for His Second Coming?

In fact, this ALL revolves around His Second Coming and the appointed times (Heb. mo’edim) in the Fall — known by the Jewry as the Days of Awe. So, where do ALL souls go after death — both the righteous and the wicked? The Bible calls this specific place by three names:

          * Sheol (65x in the OT) –;
          * Hades (10x in the NT; 4x in Revelation) –; and
          * Paradise (3x in the NT; this portion of Sheol/Hades is for believers only) –

To be perfectly clear, none of these is Hell (which is a misnomer; see nor the false precept of Purgatory; see

This is what the Bible states, and this is but a sampling of each:

          * Numbers 16:25-35 (concentrate on vv 30,33 as well as the footnotes):
          * Job 7:7-10 (notice that it’s always DOWN to Sheol):
          * Acts 2:22-36 (concentrate on vv 27,30-31,34-35):

The passage in Acts 2 is important as even Christ’s soul descended into the netherworld of Sheol/Hades/Paradise. Recall that He was dead and buried for THREE DAYS AND NIGHTS (15-17 Abib) in accordance with the Jonah prophesy; see

Examine the Greek word translated as “Paradise” again: It is a park, a garden, an enclosure! The souls of both the righteous and the wicked DESCEND to the netherworld — using whatever name desired: Sheol, Hades, or Paradise.

          * Ezekiel 31:15-17
          * Luke 23:39-43:

Can you handle the truth? Judgment Day — aka the great and terrible Day of the Lord — will occur on a future Yom Kippur (=Day of Atonement). The flip-side of atonement is… judgment!

          * Revelation 20:12-15:

Those who are TRUE believers in Christ ( will be given Grace, which is a judicial pardon on Judgment Day at His Second Coming! His First Coming was as the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53 who brought salvation to the world. His Second is as the conquering priestly king of the order of Melchizedek (Heb. Malki-tsedeq; =my king is righteous[ness]) vanquishing all evil and establishing His Kingdom — where believers will ultimately reside — on the New Earth.

Those who do not believe in Him will be judged by the Law of Moses, found guilty, and will be thrown into the lake of fire known as Gehenna; examine again.

Only three people, who were born incarnate on Earth, are currently in Heaven: 1) Christ, who was resurrected, transfigured, and ascended to the right hand of the Father; 2) Enoch; and 3) Elijah. The latter two are the witnesses (or the metaphorical lampstands [representing the Light of the Word] and olive trees [representing the anointing of the Word]) of Revelation. As ALL humans MUST die (i.e., the first death), the two witnesses will as well in Jerusalem; see

Note: Jerusalem is mystically called Sodom and Egypt in this passage; it is also called Mystery Babylon as rabbinic Jews follow the Babylonian calendar in which the fourth month is named after the Babylonian deity Tammuz, put more faith in the Talmud Bavli (Babylonian Talmud) than they do in the TaNaKh (OT), and recite Adonai for the Tetragrammaton which invokes the Greek Adonis and Babylonian Tammuz. That’s why it’s necessary for an undefiled New Jerusalem to descend from the New Heaven to the New Earth. Also, the two witnesses are taken back up into Heaven after they are resurrected. Their bodies/temples were specially prepared (or at least Enoch’s was documented as being so); in the Book of Enoch, what appeared to be a hot coal was pressed to his lips to purify him. Focus on v5 if anyone desires to harm them before their time of prophesying is completed; see These are no longer regular human beings as we know them.

After the wicked are thrown into Gehenna in perpetuity, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb between Christ and the New Jerusalem will commence on Sukkot (=Feast of Tabernacles); see

To recap, this is the order of the resurrection that will occur just before Judgment Day:

So, there you have it, folks… The souls of the deceased — even the righteous/elect — are certainly NOT in Heaven. Not Adam, who was a literal son of God (see Luke 3:38); not Abraham; not Moses; not David; not Mary — NO ONE save Christ at this time.

          Shema Yisrael!

if you don’t want to go to heaven but prefer to stay on earth, you are welcome to stay…

the great apostasy is in progress…we live in exciting prophetic times, the main prophecy being currently fulfilled is about the apostasy mentioned in 2 Peter & Jude…Paul describes well the “what happens in vegas, stays in vegas” mentality of wicked people in these crazy last days:

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Tim. 3:1-7).

yep, pretty well describes people out there these days…

the true NT saints go to heaven and participate in the marriage feast of the lamb as described in Rev 19…sounds like you have already thrown away the invitation like so many do according to the parable of the Great Feast in Luke 14…too bad for you that you have many other more important things to do than worship God at the Marriage Feast…I know several people who would like to have your seat…

        • Alan Schuetz

Let’s examine the verses you cited:

Luke 21:36 But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (NASB)

          In context:

What does it say in context? There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; men fainting from fear; powers of the heavens shaken…

Luke 21:27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (NASB)

Let’s examine those two passages I cited:

(NASB)

Honestly, do I need to go any further? #WakeUp

      • jknbt

let’s make this easy, laschuetz…there are multiple raptures in the bible from enoch to the end of the tribulation…you are fixated on the one that comes at the end of the tribulation…
        1) there is the “thief in the night” rapture that catches away the wise virgins before the Tribulation;
        2) there is the rapture of the two witnesses in Rev. 11;
        3) and there is the one you obsess over at the end of the tribulation when saints are caught up into the air to meet the returning Jesus.

The marriage feast of the lamb takes place immediately before the second coming in Rev 19. The true church is in heaven for the marriage…guess it pays to have oil in your lamp and to be ready to go into the wedding feast, huh? There will be saints who survive to the end of the Trib while still on earth, but they miss the party. They are still saints, but they do not have the honor of attending the wedding feast because they refused to get ready in advance for the pretrib rapture.

and stop calling everyone who doesn’t agree with you a false teacher. Who made you the protestant Pope with the final say on all matters of scriptural interpretation. You will be judged by your own standard, Mr. False Teacher Laschuetz

        • Truthseeker

Paul states your raptures are not so!

13 These—– “”all”"”—- died in faith, —- not having received the promises, — but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

39 And these –”all” —, having obtained a good report through faith, — received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, “”that they”—- without us —- should not be made perfect.

jknbt can you read? Paul states All have died not having received the promise of eternal life

AND no one will gain eternal life until it is time for All to receive it at the exact same time>

If your doctrines conflict with scripture as they do and you still hold to them — what does that tell us about you?

          • jknbt

wrong, Truth Avoider, the “Promise” refers to Christ…all the saints listed in Hebrews 11-12 resurrected with Christ in his death, burial, & resurrection:

            Matthew 27:51-53

51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

The point of Heb 11 & 12 is that these people stayed faithful even though they did not receive the heavenly city in their lifetimes or in death, even a hard death through martyrdom…The did receive the heavenly portion through Christ. The “Promise” is Christ.

Yes, I can read. Can you understand? Your skull must be 3 inches thick by now, you are so hardened in your own self-deceptions. The great tribulation (last 3 1/2 years) is designed to be hard enough to crush the thick-skulled oppositions of the Jews so they are finally converted. I want you to pray for your own personal great tribulation so your hardened oppositions to the gospel of grace is broken.

Busy, no time to debate, figure it out for yourself.

Question: Where did those “who had fallen asleep” go? Were they “beamed up” to Heaven? No! They walked into Jerusalem as a testimony. For those in Sheol, who do you think is in Paradise (aka the bosom of Abraham)? We ALL will stand before Christ ON EARTH on Judgment Day (aka the great and terrible day of the Lord) including Adam! Are Dead believers going to be “beamed down” from Heaven for Judgment Day? lol Do you hear how ridiculous that sounds?

What does the Bible say? After Judgment Day (on a future Yom Kippur), a NEW HEAVEN and NEW EARTH will be created, then the NEW JERUSALEM will descend for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (on a future Sukkot) between Christ and her!

Revelation 21:9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

              The New Jerusalem
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. 12 It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (NASB)

Is any of this sinking in yet?

            • Alan Schuetz

You probably believe the bride is the “church” — which is yet another lie! Again, #WakeUp

lascheutz…”fallen asleep” is just a metaphor or figure of speech for death…stop taking metaphors so literally…do you know what a metaphor is? Jesus says he is a door in John 10:7 & 9…if you take that as literally as you normally do, you will say that Jesus therefore has hinges & a latch! No, it is a metaphor. To turn a metaphor into a simile, just insert the word “like”….then John 10:9 would read:

9 I am LIKE the door.

The bible should be read in a literal, common sense manner. This also means that when the Word uses metaphors, similes, or figures of speech, they should be taken that way and not read literally…

well enough debate, thanks for helping my arthritic brain to wake up this morning…busy, can’t visit further…figure it out for yourself…ask TruthSeeker for help, he also has been elected Protestant Pope and seems to be sure he has the final say on interpreting all things scriptural and spiritual…

so jknbt verse 40 is incorrect?

it states None have been made perfect yet and will not be until we all are made perfect at the same time at the first resurrection — Them of old and those after the death of Christ will be born again with the same spirit body as Jesus Christ at the first resurrection which occurs at his return.

              Phil 3;21

by the way the promise is eternal life
The reward is positions of authority i.e. as kings and lords here on earth.

wow are you in for a great shock.

            • jknbt

hello…don’t have time to track down “verse 40″…of which book? of which chapter? pls be a little more specific if you expect a reply…there are a lot of verse 40′s in the bible

            • Truthseeker

jknbt it is in the comment I sent that you must not have read

here it is again it is from Hebrews 11, the faith chapter

13 These—– “”all”””—- died in faith, —- not having received the promises, — but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

39 And these –”all” —, having obtained a good report through faith, — received not the promise:

40 God having provided some better thing for us, “”that they”—- “without us” —- should not be made perfect.

“Fallen asleep” is referencing the imperishable soul separating from the perishable flesh at death and going down to Sheol to await resurrection at Christ’s Second Coming. After His arrival — most likely on Zichron Teruah (=Memorial by Blasting [of trumpets and shofar]) — but most certainly AFTER the Great Tribulation, the elect (=chosen ones) will be gathered up with the resurrected first followed by those believers still living JUST AS THE SCRIPTURES STATE! We will then be given imperishable bodies to match our imperishable soul — again, JUST AS THE SCRIPTURES STATE!

      With thanks to Sheldon Emry:
History and Scripture prove the people known as “Jews” today are only NOT Israel, but are actually the ENEMIES OF ISRAEL, thereby making them GOD’s enemies.

For God, who knows the end from the beginning, foresaw all this, as we have seen from the Holy Word. Genesis 28:9 and 36:2 show Esau married wives of Ishmael and Canaanites, Genesis 36 says, “Esau is Edom … Esau, who is Edom … Esau, the father of the Edomites in Mount Seir.”

Looking at the antichrist activities of the modern “Jew,” and knowing they are Esau-Edom (Khazars), you can see what the Bible says, “As it is written, Jacob (Israel) I loved, BUT ESAU HAVE I HATED.” (Romans 9:13).
You should look up the prophecies for Esau, Edom, and Mount Seir when you want to preach about “them which say they are Jews, AND ARE NOT, but are the synagogue of satan.”

(Rev 2:9; 3:9) THEY ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THAN THE PROPHECIES ABOUT ISRAEL. Instead of a glorious future as God’s Chosen, the descendants of Esau-Edom Jewry are slated for total destruction. (See OBADIAH and others). Their claim to Palestine, and their claim that America should help, is based on the false identity provided them by their own propaganda, fortified by erroneous teachings.

Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Co., in Chapter 2 of his monumental and almost forgotten book THE INTERNATIONAL JEW states, “There is a mission for the pulpit to liberate the Church from what the New Testament Scriptures call ‘the fear of the Jews.’ The pulpit has also the mission of liberating the Church from the error that Judah and Israel are synonymous.

The reading of the Scriptures which confuse the tribe of Judah with Israel, and which interpret every mention of Israel as signifying the Jews, is at the root of more than one-half the confusion and division traceable in Christian doctrinal statements.

Truthy…I’m not sure where you are going with this…to find the answer, if I understand your question, you have to read thru Paul’s lengthy essay to chapter 12, v. 22:

22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

note that it is in the past perfect tense, “you have come” meaning this has happened

      also see 12:28:

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may[j] serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

the verb form “are receiving” is in the indicative present continuous form…which means we are getting it even now…

so v. 22 says we have already received it, and v. 28 says we are continuing to receive it…meaning the Kingdom of Heaven & God

and no, we have not received yet glorified bodies, if that’s what you mean by perfect…

Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

this means we are positionally perfect in christ, and then we will be made perfect in the resurrection as per Phil 3:12 which I guess was your point

Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

so I am still not sure where you are going with this…God has done a work in Christ…the work will be even more complete at the resurrection when Christians receive glorified bodies without sin…

p.s…I think we will ALL be in for a few surprises, even you!

lascheutzy…sounds like you are putting on me some JW doctrines of men…which are vain…
